About Us
Harvest Moon Sporting Club | Huntsville, MO
Our Story
In 2010, Harvest Moon Sporting Club opened in Huntsville, Missouri, to provide a place for the Sells family friends to enjoy the outdoors and make lasting memories with us. Our goal was pretty simple: to create a place that is an enjoyable refuge from the hectic pace of today’s world. The plan was to develop a land management program that nurtures a habitat that enables waterfowl, deer, turkey, and dove to proliferate….and yes, we always planned to shoot a few of them along the way.
A unique place, Harvest Moon started with very few rules. Our golden rule is that habitat conservation always comes first. Care for the land and the animals, and both will provide for you. The other rules… be safe, be safe, be safe, be polite, be respectful, and for our young guests, be present. Less social media and more face-to-face social interaction.
Over the years, we have added a few more guidelines. Mostly, it’s okay to have different opinions on many things, but it might be best to leave politics, religion, and political correctness at the front gate. Life’s too short; let’s have fun.
Whether you become a member or come as a member’s guest, we hope you enjoy our little refuge as much as we do. We look forward to seeing you, sharing a story or two, and having as many laughs as we can.
While you’re here, feel free to ask any questions, and let us know if we can do anything to enhance your stay.
Warmest welcome,
Andy and Logan Sells
